Account information: Your name, email address, country, and profile photo when you create an account.
Learning data: Skill assessment results, session attendance, practice task completion, skill scores, and improvement trajectory. This data is the core product — it is what generates your Skill Passport.
Payment information: We do not store card details. Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (global). We receive only transaction confirmation.
Session data: For quality assurance, sessions may be recorded only with explicit consent from both teacher and student. Recordings are stored for 30 days and then deleted unless you request otherwise.
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent. Used only to improve the platform.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the platform (payment processors, video infrastructure) or as required by law.
You have the right to: access all data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@verto.io. We respond within 48 hours.
Data is stored on secure servers. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS 1.3. API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to our servers.
We use industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security reviews.
We use only essential cookies required for the platform to function (session management, authentication). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

These terms govern your use of Verto. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Verto is an online learning platform connecting students with verified teachers globally. We provide the platform, payment infrastructure, AI tools, and skill assessment. Teachers are independent professionals, not Verto employees.
Monthly subscriptions: Charged on the same date each month. Cancel anytime before the next billing date for no further charges.
If no improvement in 30 days: Students who complete all scheduled sessions and practice tasks but show no measurable skill improvement may request a full refund within 35 days of their first payment. This requires completion of the post-month assessment.
Session no-shows: If a teacher misses a confirmed session without 24-hour notice, students receive a full credit for that session.
Skill Passports and certificates are based on assessment data generated within the Verto platform. They are verifiable by anyone with the certificate URL. Verto does not guarantee employer acceptance of these certificates — they are a proprietary credential, not a recognised academic qualification.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
